TOOL

December 31st, 2011

A while back I took a wet plate/collodion workshop with my buddy Frank Lopez at his studio in Fair Park.

This character was a combination of a wood skeleton and a single, metal arm lying around the studio. Being a bug TOOL fan it only seemed natural to make this picture.

This was one of my first wet plate images and you can see I didn’t get the emulsion down on the glass very well. This is a direct scan of the glass plate positive.
